Reducing the negative impact of anxiety disorders on church attendance
A Talk by Stephen Grcevich MD (President and Founder, Key Ministry)
About this Talk
Available research suggests adults with anxiety disorders are less than half as likely as their peers to attend church on any given weekend, and the presence of a child or teen with anxiety decreases by 45% the likelihood of their family setting foot in a church.
This session will examine the reasons why church attendance and engagement is so difficult for persons with anxiety, and offer specific strategies for pastors and church leaders interested in welcoming and including children and adults with anxiety into their ministry activities and environments.
