Wilson is from Southeast Asia, came to the USA and attended Biola University, Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology, San Francisco State University, Multnomah University and Trinity. He graduated with degrees in Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Pastoral Studies in Family Ministry, Missional Leadership and Biblical Counseling. He practiced psychiatric therapy 1986-1997 and has been in full-time ministry since 1997.
