Dr. Jared Pingleton

Dr. Jared Pingleton is dually trained and credentialed as a minister and licensed clinical psychologist who has been in practice since 1977. He is a highly regarded national and international speaker who has authored or co-authored ten books [including his latest book: "Mental Health Ministry: The Struggle is Real."] Most recently Jared served as Director of Mental Health Care and Ministry for the American Association of Christian Counselors after serving for several years as the Director of Counseling Services at Focus on the Family. A nationally recognized leader in the Christian mental health field, Jared has been a professor at several colleges, universities and seminaries, served on the pastoral staff of two large churches, and founded and directed two Christian counseling centers. He has extensive national and international media experience--appearing as a guest, host, or co-host on hundreds of television and radio programs, podcasts, and in many leading print publications.
