Dr Danny Cheah is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist working as the Head of Clinical Services at a large metropolitan Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Melbourne, Australia. Danny is passionate about helping people early in order to prevent long term consequences of mental illness. He delivers mental health talks to help reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues.
Danny has also delivered talks in churches to help people understand about mental health issues from a Christian perspective, integrating his faith and professional experience to address the stigma in the Christian community. #dontjustprayitaway is aimed at encouraging people to access appropriate mental health care when needed, as well as encouraging the church to disciple people who may be struggling with mental health issues.
