About this speaker
Dr. Brie Turns is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Arizona. She has been treating families caring for a loved one with a disability for over a decade and has spoken at state, local, and international conferences. Dr. Turns is also an Associate Professor at Arizona Christian University and teaches on disability, human development, and trauma. Finally, Dr. Turns has written text books, children's books, and will be launching her parenting book, "Parent the Child You Have, Not the Child You Were" in Fall 2022
